Eagles night UPDATE

Eagle’s night was a kick. Thanks to all who made it to the chat room for the show. Tonight Karen called in and we talked to her ON AIR. We will be braking down the call into some spots for the show next week. If you want to hear the show replayed just go to http://www.turboshout.com/ and click on ARCHIVE and look for the show dated Dec 30 2005 and click on it to start your player. Eagles Night

I was chatting with a friend at work the other day and he was reminiscing of the Eagles concerts he has attended in his years. By the end of the day all I could hear in my head were Eagles tunes. So WHOOPS THERE IT IS! It will be Eagles night on the 30th of December. Oh we will still have time for all the requests you bring, CUZ THAT’S OUR JOB.

Turbo Show Dec 9-10 2005

It was a combination Birthday and Christmas show tonight. We had some guest in the room who were DJs too. That’s always fun. We played some Comedy Christmas bits and some Christmas songs and of course lots and lots of your requests.

Next weeks show I will play a call-in Request from Enz. He was awesome enough to call in before he left for his trip tonight. Thanks Enz! You can expect more Christmas stuff and lots of toe tapping, but kicking rock.

Turboshout Show Dec 2-3 2005

Turboshout was a blast! Except for Chris under the weather and away form the chair it was a good night with good friends and good music. Lots of requests poured in form Enz and Splat. Ozzy, Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys, and lots more. Joy came in to visit and play some trivia bot. We missed Dave the cat and Bruj. Pre Show Update Turboshout 11 25 2005

It’s white outside. Cold to. We are down to the low twenties all ready. Well at least I have my hot coffee and leftover turkey and pie. Oh ya. I got kids in the house again. Maybe not.
We are now looking forward to Christmas. If they let us have Christmas! Darn activist.

Chris will be a bit late to the show due to the fact that he likes getting a paycheck.
Tonight will be our Turkey day ends Christmas season starts SHOW.
Still taking your requests like always. Post them hear or get them to me any way you can before the show and you will have a better chance of hearing them.

We have started archiving the shows again. I have not been doing this for some time now. Bad DJ. You can replay a show or play a show you missed by going to www.turboshout.com and clicking on Archive Shows. We replayed the "Sweet Child of Mine remix Chris and I did last time on tonights show. (Nov 18 2005).
It is uploading as I type and should be posted at www.turboshout.com soon. Lord Megatron posts them ASAP depending on his work schedule.

OK They have lost it

This is what happens when you give a live mic to two nut case’s.
We had some fun tonight. The gang was all there. They had all their music requests but near the end of the show Bruja had a special request. She asked that we sing Sweet Child of Mine. NO NOT PLAY IT, SING IT. So like any crazy person we did.

The amazing thing is that no one's ears started bleeding so all was ok. Chris and I had a request of our own. We asked all the roomies to send us their own recordings to air next Friday. That ought to be fun. Again if you wish to send us a recording on wav or MP3 just go to http://www.yousendit.com/ and use our email ericesp@mchsi.com in the email box and we will download it ASAP.

KDUZ Local Football game.

At game start we had some cell phone problems on the field with the game callers.
I jumped in to announce the problem and then play some tunes until the announcers out at the game fixed it.
Got trained real quck on how to switch the station from low to high power. Wheeew.

What a fun night OCT 21-22 2005

What a fun night! We had Bruja, Dave, Rusty, Tex Karen, Enz, Blue, and Splat at the Turboshout party. Played all the requests we could fit in and some new stuff from Chris, my partner in crime ( cuz it is a crime what we do on this show).

We played some fun songs about beer and sheep. We won’t get into that here. We started early so the show lasted a good three hours long but boy it went by fast. We can’t wait for the next time.

REO NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT a Bruja Request

REO Speedwagon show Next Friday. And I got a lot of them.
It was rely great at Turboshout this evening. I got to DJ for Tigger, Bruja, Sheri, Dave the Cat and my one and only Blueeyes. Oh and the mean old Trivia Bot was there too to give all of us a bad time. It was a perfect ending to a great night of broadcasting. Before the Turbo show I just got back from KDUZ where I engineers the local football game. Some of the requests I had were Meatloaf, Rob Thomas, and we heard a little trivia about the band 10 CC.

I have been doing this with Turboshout for must be 8 years now. I can't stop. You all make my Friday nights.

Friday, Sept. 23-KDUZ-Football-Farmington at Hutchinson, 7 pm

I get to engineer the game tonight. If you can tune into 1260 AM Hutchinson here in Minnesota you will hear Joel and Pat call the game and it will be me running the board and reading the weather and news. The game promises to be a good one. Hutch has been kicking tail up until now.

Tonight's show was Something!

Turboshout was not working so off we all went to E-Spin. That worked great for all but Brju. Bummer. She must be my biggest fan. Well the ones that could tune in, Thanks All.
I got to play Amanda by Boston and for my long lost friend Sheri I played her song, you guessed it, Sheri by Frankie Valley.

Timmo, Brju, Sheri, all of you helped me work some of the buggs out of E-Spin.

E Spin radio is on the air! I am testing my own Shotcast Station. Actualy I have been playing with this internet station to learn more about how radio stations engineer there broadcasts for some years. I have dedicated a computer to the station and hope to have it on A LOT. Right now I have just music on it. I will be playing with other types of programming. I am open to what you may think would be a program to air and the time you would like it to air during the day. Feel free to tune in and feed back here via comments. I will respond if you leave an email or your name so I can reach you. Right now the programming is as follows.

ON AIR FRIDAY CLASIC ROCK

Ok Gang

I got a real rockin' lineup for music this Friday. I got some new tunes and some really good old ones.
My brother we all know as Splat in the Turboshout Room has been down after a hospital stay so I want to really dedicate some GOOD OL ROCK to him this Friday. I got to meet a younger guy at work that loves classic rock also. I want to be sure to give him an ear full also. He may be listening if he's not working at the Target store. I got some new Blues Travelers and an oldie from In Living Colour, the band.

If any of you want to record a station promo for turboshout just let me know in a comment here or on MSN, etc. and I can reach you one way or another to record one. You can do it at home via my phone or just record a wav file yourself. I love playing sound bites form you all.

Sorry gang but I will not be able to go on tonight. Feeling really bad. If I want to keep on keeping on I better get some sleep. I've got muscle aches and I'm really tired. If you are a DJ for Turboshout, Please take my time.

Hey all you music lovin people.

Friday the 12th will be Allman Brothers Night on my show at www.turboshout.com
The band is playing at a casino near me but I will be working so I won't be able to go. That's ok. You and I can jam to them on that night. Of course I will be playing all your requests also so bring some with you or you can comment here and leave your requests or dedications so I can be sure to have them by show date.
