We had new listeners and they came up with some super requests. It was a 100% request show. None of my crap. Dan made it in to the 1hr show, that was a treat. Paul and Deb were there and so was Deb's Mom, Six, Bru, Sabrina, Josie, and we had listeners that were not in the chat room tuned in. Beck, Paige and I had a great time. Tuff To Find A Slot For The SHOW.

Fortunately I have a regular job, unfortunately it is a 12 hour a day job that alternates every 3 or 4 days. Basically, what every day I pick I will be working it on one week and off on that day the next week. The time slot I have to have is from 7 PM until 9 PM CST. Right now the slots at that time every day is filled with the other KICK BUTT Shows. For now I will be filling in vacant slots or if a host can not make his show I will try to jump in. This can happen at any time on my days off. HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHEN I AM GOING ON? Watch Facebook, this BLOG, Fallow me on TWITTER. The last one is the best one if your not listening to iWebradio 24/7. I post on my TWITTER lots from my computer and my cell phone and it updates my Facebook at the same time. The show could have very little notice but I promise to do my best to pick a day off as far in advance a possible to notify you so you can come join me. Come fallow me on TWITTER. Ok I had to put the show on hold before due to no work and now the overtime is
eating into my spare time. I missed 2 shows in a row and I keep thinking I
can do it but I am afraid Beck is right. I can't. I will have to shut down
the show for as long as necessary. I leave my slot open to anyone who wants.

back. Just not sure when. Right now we are expecting this to last into

Thanks for your Patience all. I Finlay got the audio tweaked. There should be lots less fade out of voice over and a more even sound all around. No more adjusting your MP3 players volume for each song. The room has been great also. The shows are virtually all REQUESTS. Not a lot of my picks every get ON AIR.

Also Beck did her Eclectic Sound Project and it TOO is on the player.

Ok the DysFunction show was on Aug 27th but when I played it back it had some issues. Echo behind the voice overs was bad. I did not post the show due to the problem. I have fixed the issue and made some other improvements to the sound and format to the show. The biggest change is the new software our fearless leader had purchased for us. I can't Waite to do the next show on Sept 3rd.

This Weeks show was real fun.
Dan The Man did some station ID's for me. I love it when you all send me station ID's. There easy to make. Use what ever recording software you have with your microphone and record your name and say "iWebradio" and the "DysFUNction Junction" show in the recording.
Anything more you put in it is great so long as there is at least that much. Your name can be your screen name or first name only or some fictisious name I don't care.
We had a Chinese guy calling himself MESOHAPYY not long ago.

The iweb chat room and all of you podcasters and listeners on this blog or subscribers. I am humbled and amazed at how many people listen to DysFUNction Junction. I would like to make sure all of you know who invented the show. It was the brain child of MADD Chatter. Real name is JOHN. The very talented guy who brings you iWebradio. We hunted for a title for the show for about a week. The format of the show comes from my many years of entertaining on Internet radio but the best part of the show. THE MUSIC is picked by YOU!

Hardly any of you who listen from outside the chat room ever make requests. Could it be you are afraid of JUNK MAIL? I never do it. I don't even respond unless it is needed.
Maybe you think I stack the tunes with the people in the room. Well I line them up first by the order they come in however, I do make exceptions to effectiveness and timing. So you may not go on right after I get your request.

You don't what me to mention your name or nick or email. Never do unless I have been told It is ok. Play it safe. Put by anonymous in the email and I will be sure to just play your song.

Maybe you don't think I have it or maybe I don't play it. Try me!. I bet I play it. I bet I got it.

Ok everyone. This show still has some audio problems. I have worked them out so Monday the 17th show should be working normally. No more distracting echos. So expect no talk from me for about 5 songs. I get the mic back about then. But still have the echo issue for the whole show.

Even with the technical problems you all were poring on the requests. The show got CALL IN's from Sabrina, Josie and Jilly Beans with some really great tunes. Not to mention all the chat room requests and Deb made some request via email. Poor thing hurt her self and was at home doing HOME WORK. Hope we made you feel better Deb.

The Show Was a BLAST!
It got a bit raunchy because it was very early Saturday morning. All little ears should be in bed. I deleted some of the more explicit titles from the list below for that reason. One title was by the band Jackle and the other was a song about making like an animal. You know the one.

Also Dysfunction Junction announced that Monday the 26th will be MADD Monday in tribute to the man who makes iWebradio happen. MADDCHATTER. Someone guesses the Mystery song! One of Paul's Picks has stumped everyone for two shows now, but someone got it. You won't guess who! It is in the first segment I believe.

Paige was the only one in the family to watch any of the Super Bowl. She got a kick out of the halftime show with Prince, so we played some of his tunes along with another Paige Pick.

NOTE! I am wondering if adding a Play List of the songs on each segment of the show would help with all you POD CASTERS. I am working on this idea off and on. Should I spend more time on it? Let Me Know What You Think.

Beck is in Texas right now for her daughter Christina's wedding. She made the trip by car.

On the DysFUNction show on the 22nd NastyGuns asked if Paige had brown hair in the photo we posted of Paige with her new Sunglasses. Well we told him that it was black with blond tones and some color streaks. I said we would try to get a better photo of her cool hair and Paige picked this one back when it was right out of the hair dressers chair.

On a side note about the CALL IN Phone Number. It is 24 Hours and you can use it to submit post for the show about anything from a comment, joke or some cool thing that happened. I had to work late at the radio station and was going to ask one of the other iWeb personalities to cover for me when it hit me!
Paige can do it!!!!!

She nervously agreed to so with a short lesson on how to launch the show off to work I go.
Well I could not help my self. I tuned in at work to see if she was OK. She was great. She had you all eating out of her hand. She kept a steady audience with her until I took over about a half hour before the show ended. Gee I take the mic and the listeners head for the hills.
You have to tune in to the show. As I type I do not have the show posted in the player below but should have it in by the end of the day of the 17th. Her Future's So Bright, She's got to wear shades!

There are lots and lots of requests on this show in all the segments. The conversation in the chat room got a little HOT so to speak when the song Pearl Necklace by ZZ Top was played. Warning...some adult oriented explanations were made on the show so be carefull in the 1st segment of the show.

In the first segment I mentioned that Paige found a pair of sunglasses she really liked. She liked them enough to trade a really nice shirt for at the store so she could get them. I promised a photo of the shades so Paige took the photo and here it is.

The blog has a new look and so will the show. Well a new sound anyway.

RETURNING TO THE WEB

We have solved the isues keeping the DJ ESP streamcast off the Turboshout server! I am putting togeather all the software and loading up the songs. I should be on the air again next week. The only problem will be what night. I am working on a rotating schedual right now but I will keep all of you informed.

I can't waite to get with all of you again and spin the tunes and act up.

My computer is still messed up. I will have to order some back up CDs for my XP operating system. I am still working on getting one of the other computers to work with the mixer and the software I used to encode the show. I really miss DJing and can’t wait to get back on the air. I have one other XP computer but so fare I can’t get all the software to work. It has issues of its own. I have a 95 to try next. Cross your fingers gang.

Ok looks like the computer that I encode the Turboshout show on is BAD. I will have to redo the hardrive form scratch. I am woking on that and trying to get one of the lower power computers to encode without problems.

Hey Gang.

I got the computer working and set up the show with a new look. I will be showing graphics like Photos, music videos and even LIVE WEBCAM.

All this has to be tested with all of you but the tests I did so far look good.

Send my Jpegs to put on when I play your requests or anything you might think would be cool.

We had a major computer problem. I had to wipe off Hard drive. I have everything loaded again and hope to be Playing this Friday. I will be testing this week and will post it on the MSN messenger so if you like you can tune into the tests. I will play music and even test the video.

Sorry I have been away so much. Beck is getting a new computer and I my also soon.
