Out but not forever!!
eating into my spare time. I missed 2 shows in a row and I keep thinking I
can do it but I am afraid Beck is right. I can't. I will have to shut down
the show for as long as necessary. I leave my slot open to anyone who wants.
it. I will try to fill in when I can if I can. Not leaving iweb. I will be
back. Just not sure when. Right now we are expecting this to last into
August. Hey, at least I am working right.
I will miss playing music for you all.

Based in Los Angeles the group was brought together by the vision of guitarist Michael Sanders. His father, the late Will Sanders, was a pianist/singer who played and sang with The Inkspots,Cab Calloway, Mercer Ellington (The Embers), and Count Basie throughout the fifties and sixties. Michael grew up with his mother and brother in London Ontario, a small industrial city in between Detroit and Toronto with roads leading in but not many leading out."When I was a kid I really didn't realize how poor we were. My mother often struggled at two jobs to support my brother and I. For entertainment, all we had was a 13 inch black and white TV with three fuzzy channels and a cheap stereo that played eight tracks, cassettes, and records. The way I looked at it, I could either hang out in the apartment with no living room furniture, listen to music and play guitar, or get into trouble. I usually explored both options".

Taking a page from the book of early '70s super groups, One Tribe Nation is an eclectic mix of
world-class musicians inspired by culture, diversity, and the concept of a
single world community. Based in Los Angeles, the group was brought together by
the vision of guitarist Michael Sanders. His father, the late Will
Sanders,
was a pianist/singer who played and sang with The Inkspots, Cab Calloway,
Mercer Ellington and
Count Basie throughout
the fifties and sixties. Michael’s
musical lineage is highly evident in the intricate yet melodic songs on Servants Of A Lesser God. There is no question to his
guitar playing ability, but it doesn’t stop there. Take “One Trick Pony”
– a high-energy track that combines melodic leads, soulful groove and
explosive Latin rhythms. “Amigos Del Diablo” delves even further into the world
community feel, highlighting Michael’s talents as a multicultural songwriter.
For those seeking
tribute to the '70s sound, look no further than “Esoterica” – a song that
demonstrates Michael’s ability to bridge classic musical influences with his
own signature sound. Joining
the Nation for
this release are all-star greats like Luis Conte (Eric Clapton, Madonna,
Santana), Andy Vargas of
Santana, Jimmy Roberts (Rod Stewart, Rick Braun) and long time Rolling
Stones backup
singer Bernard Fowler, as well as touring members and session players
for such artists as Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Ricky Martin, Frank Gambale, The

| Description: OurAfter takes on elements of Agressive Melodic Rock and blends it with a Mainstream flow allowing the everday listener to relate to its lyrics and music. | ||||
| Biography: Scranton, October 14, 2008-After two months in the studio, OurAfter will be releasing a 5 song EP titled “Tabula Rasa” on Tuesday November 11, 2008. The band has planned a special dual CD Release show with FOF/EMI Recording Artists The Drama Club, who will also be debuting their album that day, at Tinks Entertainment Complex in Scranton, PA. “Tabula Rasa”, which means a clean slate, shows the sound of OurAfter in a whole new aspect. The band has matured melodically, lyrically, and puts forth an EP that is more aggressive than OurAfter’s previous album, but still provides a mainstream crossover. It has been over two years since the band released their debut disc “Perfect Day” and the buzz is increasing more throughout markets from New York City to Los Angeles. Over the last year, OurAfter has opened up for many numerous national acts including Flyleaf, 10 Years, Red, Saving Abel, Panic at The Disco, and Rev Theory. OurAfter will be touring the next couple of months extensively along the east coast in areas such as Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Philadelphia, New York City, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, and Charlotte. During their tour, they will be targeting many CMJ radio stations for interviews and plan on a radio campaign in early 2009. In an ever-changing music industry, OurAfter is prepared to adapt to the times and do whatever is necessary to spread their music to the masses that they can hopefully influence as they themselves have been shaped. |
